The bus takes you to the Venice bus terminal of Piazzale Roma.

Directions step by step from Rialto:
Get off at Rialto stop, walk to the base of the Rialto bridge itself and go to the right.
You find a little square (Campo San Bortolomio).
There, in front of you to the left there is a street called Sotoportego e Calle della Bissa.
Take that street and follow the main direction (along Salizada San Lio) for about 200 metres.
Then take the forelast  street on the left called Calle del Mondo Novo that will take you to the square Campo S. Maria Formosa.
In the middle of the Campo, at the left side of hotel Scandinavia, there is the street Calle Longa S. Maria Formosa.

Walking directions

If you arrive at Piazzale Roma (Bus Station and Garages) cross the new steel-and-glass bridge across the Canal Grande.
Walk in front of the Train Station and keep walking straight ahead.

If you arrive at the Train Station (Venice S.L.), outside the train station go to the left.
Then…

The first street just at a few steps from the Train Station is called Lista Di Spagna.
From there you have to walk ahead for about 20 minutes following the main direction (sort of straight ahead, no left or right turnings)
After about 20 minutes you find a very small square where you have to go either left (there is a church) or right (there is a small bridge). That square is called Campo Santi Apostoli.
There you have to go to your right but then you'd better to ask somebody directions to the square Santi Giovanni e Paolo.
They are a few minutes more. You may as well find directions to the Hospital (H), that is right in the square.
Once you are in the square Santi Giovanni e Paolo, leave the little canal behind and walk to the opposite directions, along the street Salizada San Zanipolo (or Barbaria dele Tole).
The Locanda is at 100 metres along this street, just past the white marble façade of a little church, in a side street on the right (Calle dell'Ospedaleto).

This is the link to Google map.
We are in Calle Ospedale

Should you use other means of transportation or reach the Locanda starting from other areas of Venice, take as a reference the well known square Campo Ss. Giovanni e Paolo. You may as well find directions to the Hospital (Ospedale Civile or Ospedale Ss. Giovanni e Paolo) which is right in the Campo.
From this square to the Locanda: see directions above.
Closest waterbus stop: Fondamente Nove. Alternative waterbus stops is Rialto (or San Zaccaria or San Marco)

If you reach the Locanda after 8.00 p.m., there may be nobody at the reception as the reception is open from 8.00 am to 8.00 p.m.
In this case, once you reach the Locanda you find, attached on the door, directions to a nearby hotel, where can pick up the keys of our Locanda, come back to the Locanda and let yourselves in.
