For the visitor who is seeking the tranquillity of a small “Locanda” (Inn), a family atmosphere, an attentive service towards their guests needs, the pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff, “ Locanda SS.Giovanni e Paolo” is the perfect place: very near the most splendid and famous historical places of the city, however more secluded and quiet, it seems to maintain even now the ancient flavour of Venice with its small shops, the to-and-fro of the errand boys and the cheerful “Ciacolar” gossip of the housewives.

The Locanda is an ancient eighteenth century house now completely renovated with pleasant rooms in the 1700’s venetian style, everyone with air-conditioning
(from june to september), telephone, wall-safe and a modern bathroom with shower, sanitary units and hairdryer.
The open beams of the ceilings and the décor created by the able hands of Venetian Craftsmen make every single piece a little work of art.
The luminous windows look onto the “Barbaria delle Tole” and the “Calle dell’Ospedaletto” in front of which is the (Church) “Chiesa dei Derelitti”, whose façade is rich with marbles and sculptures, and was built using a project of Baldassare Longhena.
Particularly characteristic and suggestive is a comfortable room perched on the roof of the Locanda which offers a unique panorama of the roofs, roof-terraces, bell-towers and the “Calli” of the city.
Breakfast (fresh-baked croissants, bread-rolls, butter, jam, fruit juice, tea, coffee or hot chocolate) is conveniently by room service at the time required by the guests.
